Ebo'o and the Mentor Boys shine @ Legon

It was a spectacular night last Friday at the plush Golden Tulip Hotel when Ebo’o’ of “Once – Twice” fame put up a massive display of brilliance at the Legon Icon 2007 Contest.

Ghanaian Music lovers couldn’t have been given any better dose of music than what they got from Ebo'o.

For fans who had always been enjoying Ebo'o’s Music on Radio and TV, the night was a perfect one to see Ebo'o do his own thing live on stage. Clad in a nice African print, Ebo'o dished out almost all the songs of his new album Ebo'oni including Jehovah, Mepe Woa Wogya Meho Ko, Bounce, and Marry Me.

Ebo'o’s latest album has 11 tracks on a CD with 3 skits features Ghanaian Hiplife Star Tic Tac. He wrote and composed every track on his Album. Ebo’o describes his music as Reggae or Dancehall Music. The album has over 90% of the music in English and the rest in Yuroba and Twi.

For most fans who don’t know Ebo’o so well, he is the younger brother of radio and TV presenter Kwabena Anokye Adisi popularly known as Bola Ray.

The night also saw performance from the Mentor House Stars like Joe and Kofi both of Mentor II and Ernest of West Africa Idol Fame.

The event, organised by Alternative Multimedia in collaboration with the Narcotics Control Board, aimed at selecting an intelligent male student to act as a role model to fight drug abuse in tertiary and second cycle institutions.

Mr Takyi-Menson emerged as the winner of the night.
