We need publicity : Wild WIld Group
The group, Wild Wild, which has in its camp artistes including K.K. Fosu, Tsotso and the likes, has said they need the deserved publicity. This by the director of Wild Wild Studios, Robert Hamenya, in Accra says, looking at the way of life in the streets, the group has offered opportunities to help curb some menace.
He said to the paper that the group did not just begin as a music recording studio and production. when issues concerning the youth on the streets were considered, WILD WILD studios was put up at SJ JOHNS in Accra and with more than that alone it has embark on lots of solidaritory projects in some deprived areas in the country.
He declared that many are those in the villages where they have no access to electricity, water, and a lot more for the feel of life. These and other reasons he mentioned has motivated them to come out with their kind gestures. Wild Wild have been in Somanya to provide some boreholes to the people who needs it most.
Joe, also known as FAT J, added that he believes messages sent across in music have great impact and that he says is what he asks music writers to write about and with emphasis on encouragement to the needy and hopeless. Showbiz takes a lot and that the needy shouldn’t be left out.
He is into contract with artistes who have the talent and ability to sing and rap but with no financial support to work on their songs. Joe says the doors of the studios are opened for these good but needy talents. Being the proud producer of hiplife artiste, Tsotso, he concluded that the future of music production in the country is doom from the look of things and more on PAYOLA, but with him being a new producer he hopes to continue in the music industry whichever way run. The media he says should cast around and publish such generosity on their part.
