The Hiplife trio, VIP and its producer, Isaac Abeidu-Aidoo, popularly known as Goodies, do not see music as the only means to thrive in showbiz.
Rather, the group espouses how to relate to fans and the media who are all behind its success.
In view of this, the group and its producer, last Thursday, paid Daily Guide a visit, where they toured its offices.
The group interacted, took snapshots with staff members who were around at the time of the visit.
Goodies told Mr. Francis Kwaidoo, Business Consultant of Daily Guide, who officially hosted the group, that it appreciated the manner they were warmly welcome even though they did not formally inform the outfit about the visit.
He said the group was on a mission to tour three different schools in Nima and decided to say hello to staff and management of Daily Guide.” He added that the group realized and appreciated the good work Daily Guide was doing to promote music as well as musicians in Ghana.
He hinted about the group’s decision to send music to Ghanaian prisons, saying, “what we want to do at the moment is to raise funds to support the prisons and go there with the boys to entertain them.”
He disclosed, “This would be an annual programme and it would begin somewhere in June this year.”
Mr. Francis Kwaidoo commended the group’s decision and said his outfit has specially dedicated a whole page of the paper to the promotion of music and musicians; a move which would help develop music in the country.
He told the group it was always welcome any time it felt like passing by to visit.
He concluded by advising VIP not to fail in doing good to promote development.
