A group made up of musicians, journalists, music promoters and a Miss Malaika finalist has decided to encourage tourism in the northern region.
The group had gone to the region to organise a musical concert to promote peace but when it took an adventurous safari through Mole Park the morning before the Saturday concert, it saw the need to encourage tourism.
The journey, facilitated by tour guides of Emperor Travel and Tours Limited, sponsors of the musical concert, was to expose the crew to a world of adventure and wildlife.
It was also to encourage tourism among musicians and the society as a whole.
The group was driven around the park in the Emperor Bus, as it took close observation of the untamed animal and their behaviour in the animal kingdom.
The group therefore chanced upon animal such as elephants, antelopes, wild pigs, crocodiles, monkeys and many other creatures including wild birds not seen in other parts of the world.
Some members of the crew took snapshots of the animals while others stood at angles where photographs of themselves could capture the animals in the background.
Crew members who spoke to Beatwaves about their trip were not happy with the condition of the road leading to Mole Park. They complained it was too dusty and bumpy.
Opara Ngozie, manageress of Emperor Travel and Tour, told Beatwaves in an interview that her company was offering tourists and holiday makers a great prospect to tour the west coast of Africa and Ghana in particular.
She said her outfit had organised trips in Ghana, purposely to help people explore great tourism sites.
She added patrons who go on such safaris were always given courteous attention and superb reception from the company’s tour guides.
She thus announced that “for revelers and tourist to enjoy comfort, flexible, and safety exploration, come on board Emperor Travel and Tour buses for the numerous attractions on the West Coast.”
