Come Saturday December 22nd, Accra will roar again with laughter: The
comedians are back in town; and at the National Theatre on the said
date, they will steer affairs at the very popular night of Comedy and
Music!

It's the Night of 1005 Laughs and Music; and coming all the way from the United Kingdom alongside Klint the Drunk, Julius D'Genius Agwu and Jeddi, is Michael Blankson.

Michael Blankson is rated African King of Comedy and for several years have been referred to as one of the most original stand-up comics in the world. His performances are often climaxed by tears of laughter often shed by those who listen to him!

The African King of Comedy has been entertaining audiences all across the globe for more than a decade and having been inspired by fellow stand up comedian, Eddie Murphy, Michael began to develop his comedic talent in 1992 in the unkind comedy clubs of Philadelphia and Pennsylvania.

His comedic appeal grew from his involvement with BET’s Comicview series, HBO’s Def Comedy Jam, Showtime at Harlem, and Live in Hollywood. However, it was in a Los Angeles comedy club where Michael got his big break.

On Saturday, December 22nd, Michael together with Nigeria’s finest and most hilarious Klint the Drunk, Julius D’Agwu and Jeddi will be the perfect characters to help hard word working Ghanaians unwind after months of hard work.

A release received by the organizers, Charterhouse, indicates that the idea is to give Ghanaians a-1005-reasons to laugh-off their stress while enjoying good music all coiled into one night of excitement.

Patrons of previous nights of Comedy and Music might have realized that indeed Klint the Drunk and Julius D’Agwu are no new names as long as hilarious stand-up Comedies are concerned. The two have on several occasions wowed their audiences with an amazing number of rip-cracking jokes that leave their audiences yearning for more.

Performing along side the four comedians on the 22nd of December will be the controversial A Plus, the sensational duo, Irene and Jane, Samini, Gyedu Blay Ambuley and many others.
