Hugh Masekela, the legendary South African musician will arrive in the
country today with his band for a live musical performance on Friday,
November 2, at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Accra.

Hugh Masekela is billed to perform alongside Ghana’s youngest female artiste, Becca, during the launch of her maiden music album.

The South African musician, who featured in one of Becca’s songs, I Love You, is expected to arrive in the country with journalists also.

Becca’s CD album, with ‘Sugar’ as its title track, has 12 songs and 8 on the cassette, including the currently reigning track, ‘You Lied To Me’, with its glamorous video featuring the silky-voiced man, Kwabena Kwabena.

The album which has a classic combination of mind-blowing Twi and English tracks features King Ayisoba also.

Talk of lyrics, arrangements, instrumentation and sound quality, and the album is second to none.

Some of the fascinating tracks on it are “Why”, “You Lied To Me” (remix), “Naughty Girl”, “I Love You” “Heybaa” and “Sugar”, among several others.
