Scancom Ghana Limited, operators of mobile phone network Areeba, has pledged its unflinching support for the reality TV-show, Stars of the Future, aimed at discovering and showcasing young music talents in the country.
This, according to the chief marketing officer of the company, George Andah, is because Areeba considers music as one of its critical branding vehicles, and as such will do all it can to sustain the programme.
He said this when ten of the contestants of stars of the future for the year 2007, paid a visit to the offices of scancom last week, in Accra to interact with some officials of the company.
Areeba’s motivation for sponsoring Stars of the Future show, Mr. Andah said, is to enrich the brand’s experience for all its customers.
For this reason, the company will continue to work with key stakeholders to unearth talents for the future of Ghana’s promising music industry.
The final of this year’s event is on the 4th of August 2007 at the National Theatre.
