The beverage producing industries in Ghana is one of the competitive marketing areas and in recent era many companies have stormed the market with the aim of dominating the industry.
One of such companies is the Kasapreko Company Limited located on the Spintex Road.
Their first-ever product produced was the “Kasapreko Dry Gin” at their formal location - Nungua Coco Beach. Over the years, they have dominated and continued to rule the market with their eleven (11) favorite brands which include Opeimu Bitters, Alomo Root Wine, Lime Cordial and Cream Soda mix (non alcoholic) and their new Ghana @50 anniversary brands Target Sharp-Sharp and Ogidigidi “Barima Nsuro Bitters”.
With the introduction of their brands not only is their song Target Bitters, Ogidigidi shegee by Obuor and A.B Crentsil attaining more cheers but also they have increasingly sponsored a lot of programs like the TV3 Mentor Eviction Party, Fusion on TV3 every Thursday evening and Oman FM test transmission which lasted for two (2) months; to add to their enviable records they are the first company to sponsor a radio station’s test transmission in Accra.
The company took upon themselves to hit the roads with their Target and Ogidigidi bitters aimed at reaching their consumers and prospective at their doorstep and allowing them the opportunity taste their new brands freely and to reward them for their stewardship. This weekend they paraded the principal streets of Nsawam, Suhum and Koforidua on Saturday July 21. The journey was made up of music, products and souvenirs from Kasapreko and the float was organized by Strategic Communications Limited.
Weekly Fylla in an interview with the marketing manager for Kasapreko Company Mr. Akolaa asked him what makes Kasapreko product different from the others, he said “They are researched based, their source of roots concentrate is certified by the Centre for Scientific into Plant Medicine (Mampong Akuapem) and they are the only company they produce concentrates for production in Ghana and also their raw material base are sourced differently from others.
This gives their products unique taste differently from their competitors. Again he said their products are natural herbal based products and their production and processing stages are also superb with their modern automated system”.
Mr. Akolaa also stated that these factors are considered before going in for the products for the milder alcoholic ones. The introduction of this drink creates pleasure for their cherished consumers.
