The most popular song of the year 2006 award winner King Ayisoba continues his crusade of invading the Ghanaian Music Industry with his traditional vibe as he drops a remix of his tune “I want to see you my father”.
The single which is produced by Uncle Panji and Jam Master J for Pidgen music has a “hip” rhythm with a fast tempo which makes it perfect for dancing in the clubs.
The remix features Hiplife Music Star and the Kangaroo-man Tic Tac and Kwaku-T of t*t* Mechanics fame.
Tic Tac adds his Busta-Rhyme-Like flow to the beat as Kwaku T does justice with his hiphop flow.
Ghana Base Music took the opinions of many music lovers and per their assessment this track could win another hot award in the near future.
King Ayisoba comes from Bolgatanga, in the Upper West Region of Ghana. He is a master in the play of an instrument popularly known in his native land as ‘Kolgo’.
He came up tops in the coveted most popular song of the year category at the just ended Ghana Music Awards Festival 2007. King Ayisoba also won the discovery of the year award and the traditional song of the year.
Stay tuned next week as we speak with Pidgen music to get readers a one-minute sample of the remix.
