TV3 Mentor III has carried out its first eviction show and Gina turned out to be the first to pack and leave the Mentor house. Gina’s performance on stage was anything but exciting.

One of the judges, Mark Okraku Mantey, placed his head on the desk to signify how tacky her performance was. Gina had the lowest in public votes with 5.75%, and was slagged off by all the judges.

Some of the judges crudely assessed the contestants with little or no words of encouragement. Dominic was at his usual best, judging contestants purely on their musical talent and throwing in advice occasionally.

Nadjat looked like a kid when Rama told her in the face that she’s been lazy in the Mentor house. Mark added by strongly criticizing her high heels. Laurencia, Samini’s publicist was just as critical as the rest of the judges.

The show had a very lively and noisy audience that danced to songs performed on stage. The audience was prompted to keep quite a few times by the judges. Paa was the most impressive of all the contestants.

Mark, known for being critical of contestants, refrained from passing any comment on his performance for obvious reasons.

Paa and Dela were professional and confident, and sounded very much like the last two to look out for in the finale.

Bright’s parents ejected him from the Mentor house last week with the reason that he’s going back to school.

Aside from being the first evictee by default, Bright made history by being the first contestant since the reality TV show started to be pulled out of the house by his parents.
