The Ghanaian gospel scene has in the last few years seen a lot of improvement with new artistes emerging each passing week.
The latest voice to join the tall-list of the country’s gospel artiste is Dorcas Afranie.
She recently released her maiden album titled “Hume Me Mmobo” at the House of Peace Ministry located at Sowutuom, Accra.
Grace Ashy, Georgia Adjei, Andy Frimpong Manso among other renowned gospel musicians were at the event to support Dorcas, with splendid performances.
Pleading Divine intervention for the people of Ghana, Dorcas sings “Hu Me Mmobo” “Awurade Akasa” “Ma Menye Kronkron” all in the reggae vain.
Other tracks on the album include “Gyae Wo Su” “Yen Nsum Awurade” “Save Me Lord” and many more.
Dorcas said considering the myriad of problems mother Ghana faced, she was left with no option than to seek Divine intervention for the country.
The album is already receiving massive airplay on both radio and television.
