The five-member management team of the highlife musician, Daasebre Gyamena, who arrived in Ghana, last Tuesday after his release from a UK prison, has been dissolved.
The dissolution, according to Fred Nuamah, chief executive officer of Stick Entertainment and producer of Daasebre, was a result of the team’s lack of credibility.
“The management team was dissolved because it is not credible,” he stated, but declined explaining further, what he meant.
He disclosed the constitution of a different management team, headed by Lawrencia Duah, CEO of Kosmopolitan PR and also a former manageress of Ghana’s Artiste of the year Batman Samini.
Meanwhile Daasebre Gyamena has paid tribute to Ghanaians for their support and prayers during his one-year custody in a UK prison.
“Thank you very much for your prayers and support,” an elated Daasebre said on arrival at the Kotoka International Airport on Tuesday night.
Daasebre was freed by the Isleworth Crown Court in London last Friday of his alleged involvement in a drug-related case after almost a one-year trial.
He was consequently released by the British Prisons authorities on Monday after the jury which tried him found him not guilty of the offence.
