Ghanaian Hiplifer Kwaw Kesse has been hit with a rather devastating blow as he currently finds himself mourning the death of his beloved father rather than celebrating a happy mothers’ day with his mum.

Kwaw Kesse revealed this to Ghana Base Music when we called on him to know what message he had for his mum on the occasion of this year’s mothers’ day.

Kwaw Kesse said his father gave up the ghost last Thursday after a short ailment.

In a rather somber mood, Kwaw Kesse described his dad as the best thing that ever happened to him.

Speaking further, Kwaw said, “I have lost one of my partners in life, and I have lost a dear friend. He was a marvelous person and my thoughts are now with him forever”.

“He made an immense contribution to my life, and enriched my life as well. It is a very sad moment for me. I feel a deep sense of loss but his spirit and his goodness will live on forever”, he added.

“But I believe it is God who gives and he takes away as well. I believe God has a reason for taking the life of my old man”, he continued.

Kwaw Kesse was also quick to add that, he believed this is even the best time to reciprocate the good things his mum has done for him since birth and wished her a happy mothers’ day.

Kwaw also took the opportunity to wish all mothers in the world a happy mothers’ day.

Kwaw Kesse recently released a new album titled “Odem” which has a remix of his hit track "Na Yal Tal" featuring 2 Toff.
