Today May 3, the plush La palm Royal hotel will come alive with highly rhythmic African Music, lavish food and partying when Charterhouse issues-out eight of this year's Ghana Music Awards.
As has been the norm for the Ghana Music Awards Festival over the years, this event precedes the main public awards night scheduled for Saturday May 5.
The Industry and Highlife Night is a party for all nominees, invited stakeholders of the Music Industry and members of the public who buy tickets to be part of the historic music celebrations.
Amidst a 3 course meal and varied drinks, last year"s winner of the most awards, Ofori Amponsah, together with Mobo Award winner Samini will be in full flight to jam with patrons.
Obrafour will be there and so will AB Crentsil and Obour and a host of others to thrill fans.

Awards will be given for The Song Writer of the Year, Best Music Video Directing, Reggae song of the Year, Traditional Group of the Year, Producer of the Year, Recording Engineer of the Year and a special - The Ghana @ 50 Music Merit Awards.
According to organizers of the event, unlike previous years when only an individual was awarded under this category of the Awards scheme, 11 individuals and a music organisation will be awarded under the Ghana @ 50 Music Merit Awards category.
This special Award will be received by one Engineer, seven performers, one instrumentalist, one producer and one Technician.
The need to award these people follows the fact that aside the nominated musicians, there are key stakeholders of the music industry who contribute significantly to the growth of Ghana ’s Music Industry.
All Awards to be issued out at the Industry and Highlife night are not subjected to public voting and is determined by voting among the planning committee of the Ghana Music Awards Festival.
