It’s taken some six weeks, but the tour bringing joy and music to as many as 15 towns in the Western, Central, Greater Accra, Volta, Eastern, Brong Ahafo and Ashanti Regions has come to an end.
It left very memorable experiences for revelers who thronged the venues for the various shows which saw live performances from Obrafour and some of the best entertainers around.
“Dubbed the ‘tiGO Experience Tour”, it featured Hiplife “High Priest’ Obrafour and his dances leading the packed performances from 2001 Dance Champion Paa T and the Spiders, Joe and Kofi of TV3 Mentor II, and the Slap Daughters.
The tour made stops at various places including Tarkwa, Cape Coast, Tema, Koforidua, Swedru, Techiman, Sunyani, Kumasi, and at Obo Kwahu over the Easter Weekend to top the legendary Easter celebrations there, the inimitable Lord Kenya and Tic Tac join the train and gave thrilling performances to the massive crowd.
Everywhere they went, tiGO did not lose sight of its commitment, and continued with its social responsibility programme, the objective of the tour, making donations to various institutions and showing love to deprived persons.
Many of them felt the goodwill gesture of tiGO and received hampers of goodies from the management of tiGO.
