The program is gradually becoming more exiting ever since the live presenting episode of the top ten presenters guide was launched on TV3.
The competition entered its second week and the program is still getting hotter, keener and very controversial with some people describing the program as below standard and full of flaws. A lot of controversies have cropped up concerning what the program stood for initially but the current presenters in the competition and their audience are enjoying every bit of it. To them they are bringing out to their listening audience what they hear them do on air during their sessions on radio.
Also it’s all about excitement and socializing with their fans during and after the live program. The program is aimed at bringing your favorite Presenter on radio to you live on TV to see what normally goes on and also the programs they present. Members in the competition are Presenters from some radio station in Accra and Kumasi.
The second weeks’ edition started in full swing with Nana Aba Anamoah and Emmanuel Mackey as the Emcees and DJ Willie acting as the DJ. for the night. The competitors were invited one by one on stage and were introduced to the audience. They later took turns to do what they have been presenting in their studios.
Ekow Poncho was the first to appear; he started with a funny jingle from Okomshefuor and then started with his drive time program. He played gospel music and shared some motivational messages with viewers and then after his five minutes he signed off with his usual Alhaji song. Mufty Dabre was next and presented the after drive that was the smooth drive.
He rolled with some slow jam music “me jware” from the maestro Kojo Antwi and this time he did not leave his man Ofori out and signed out after his five minutes. The conscious Rasta among the competitors started with his usual prayers and then jumped into hot reggae tunes; he then talked over the music about some political issues as he present his “taxi driver” program on Happy fm.
The mix master as people call him now instead of Ashanti’s finest also took his turn. “I want to see you my father” by King Ayisoba was his intro and then kept his mixes rolling which moved the popular Whiteman on TV3 and other people to their feet. The iron lady as others call her nowadays and also the only female among the competitors Delay added more heat to the excitement in studio B as she mounted the stage.
It was all about her “Adwuma bre”program. She played her popular “Yaw Dompe” jingle and then took everybody back to some old tunes of Daddy Lumba and again spiced her program with her usual talk overs. Adwuma Wura Yaw Nkrumah was not left out. He signed in with a gospel song and then started a massive prayer which ended up on how human beings are created. He continued with some hot stand up comedy and music.
Flavor Zone a program on OTEC fm Presented by Turbo B was this time live on TV3. His was a more music less talk affair and took everybody clubbing with some sweet club music. Wofa K was absent that night due to ill health but still in the competition. The DJ for the night was also given the opportunity to stage what he possesses.
The presenters were all line up again for their final words since the week was eviction free. The program saw some gurus in the radio industry like Adakabre Frimpong Manso, General Manger of Hot fm, Papa Bills, Jerry Justice, and DJ. Lexis passing through. The program will enter its third week which will be an eviction week and also each competitor will be given the opportunity to interview some important dignitary live.
Viewers would have an important role to play in selecting which of their favorite presenters stays in the competition come next week. All they need to do is send in their votes to Onetouch short code 1947.
