Biography of Atta Boafo


Atta has been into music from childhood, when he decided to follow the footsteps of his parents who where members of their local church choir.

He has been into number of choir groups in Ghana and this has helped him obtained a great deal of knowledge in music. In order not to keep this knowledge to himself, He has been organizing music seminars for musicians.

Toward the end of the year 2005 he came out with his maiden album under Weedy Castro Producion, it’s entitled Wo M’akomamu (in my heart) which is has songs such as me hia wo (I need you), me moa (my help) and many more.

Listening to the songs one will hear nothing but the great experience of this folk and no wonder they can heard on the airwaves everywhere.

Atta Boafo who is a twin was born in Kumasi on May 8, 1981 to Mr. Stephen Fordwour and Mad. Francisca Aggrey from Saltpond. He is a product of Kumasi High school and now studying charted accountancy with a professional institution in Kumasi. He hopes to do music for the rest of her life.
